On the Table: Avocado Toast

This is one of those recipes that doesn’t really have exact measurements. Which makes it the perfect kind of recipe for me.

Really easy to make in the morning (all you need is bread, avocados, olive oil and your preferred seasonings) and even easier to eat.

First you slice the avocados. I like to cute mine in half, then cut the lines, then use a spoon to separate it from the edges and dig it out.

Add your seasoning! For mine I used black pepper, garlic powder, crushed red pepper flakes, and a dash of of seat salt. You can also add red pepper flakes (like the one on the right).

You really can’t go wrong with this one. It’s totally customizable. Some people add poached egg, feta cheese and even bacon!

Really, there are so many ways to do this. Maybe try switching it up every day! Go crazy.
