I’ve been hearing about the health benefits
of drinking lemon
water in the morning for a while. It can help with digestion, flush out toxins, decrease blemishes and wrinkles, and boosts energy levels.
But it isn’t exactly the easiest thing to swallow when you’re used to a sweet and spicy drink in the morning. I like to add in a tablespoon of this honey & rosemary syrup to lemon water (hot or cold) to make it a little bit easier to finish in the morning!
To make the honey & rosemary syrup:
1 cup water
2 Rosemary Sprigs
Add the honey and water into a pot over medium heat. Stir to dissolve. Turn off the heat and add in 2 rosemary sprigs. Let this sit for 10-20 minutes. Remove the rosemary sprigs and let the mixture cool before using.
Lemon & Rosemary Honey Water
Juice of half a lemon
1 tbsp honey & rosemary syrup
Top with hot water
