Hi, I’m Chaucee, the hands behind the words on this screen. I started this blog as a college freshman in 2008 as a creative outlet while studying for my bachelor’s. Since then it’s grown into a way to document things I love and things I’m learning.

Happiness Project: November 2021

I’m sorry, but HOW is it December already? It’s been so warm up here in the mountains that it doesn’t even feel like fall!

However, this is still my favorite time of the year – the holiday season. The days are cozy and short (something I’m actually a fan of – don’t come for me).

While it may not feel like December, November is already good and gone. Here’s what brought me joy this past month : )

I think I’ve lit around 3-4 fires this season so far? Which is CRAZY because usually this late in the year a wood stove fire is an everyday occurrence. So I’m soaking up each one I get to make : )

I went on more walks this month and want to keep that up!

Here’s from the ONE snow day we had all month! It was also the day I lit the fire above lol. I’ll take what I can get!

I went to a Broncos vs Eagles game with my friend Danielle (we met and lived together in Philly!) for her birthday and it felt SO good to be out and about amongst people again.

Over Thanksgiving I had a mini-reunion with 3 of my former foster dogs! That truly put so much joy in my heart.

You thought October was showing off? November skies were not to be outdone!

My morning routine is one of my favorite parts of the day. I cherish these moments cuddling with the pups and a hot cup of coffee in hand.

What brought you joy this November?

For some reason I thought you were still in Philly so when you mentioned the one snow day, I’m thinking ‘when did I miss a snow day!?’ 🤣
