Hi, I’m Chaucee, the hands behind the words on this screen. I started this blog as a college freshman in 2008 as a creative outlet while studying for my bachelor’s. Since then it’s grown into a way to document things I love and things I’m learning.

Rittenhouse Row Fall Fashion Crawl 2013

Last night was the Rittenhouse Row Fall Fashion Crawl down in Center City. It was an event bringing together local retailers to show case upcoming Fall Fashion and offer great discounts to attendees. There were over 20 retailers participating so I mapped out my plan of attack, making sure to visit some of my favorites.

We heard a rumor that there were manicures going on at South Moon Under so that was our first stop of the night. Looks like everyone else had heard that rumor too, so we ended up not waiting in line, but the fall fashion we saw that night was beautiful! Leather scalloped shorts (would look great with a mohair sweater, tights, and some studded boots), big floppy boho hats (I’m determined to try this trend sooner or later), and some fall classics like leather jackets and quality denim were all displayed throughout the store. One great thing about South Moon Under is that their prices are mid-range. So you can get some really great style without completely breaking the bank.

Next we headed over to Hope Chest, a classy lingerie shop offering unique styles, bra fittings, shape-wear, pajamas and more. I have been meaning to stop in ever since their launch last year, and I’m so glad I did! They had a delicious cocktail there waiting for us with salt and chili pepper sprinkled around the rim. I wasn’t a huge fan of the drink but Jonifin and Jacqui were! I’ll definitely have to get back in for a proper bra fitting one of these days.

The last stop of the night was over to visit Duke & Winston where they set up shop for the night at the Citizens Bank downtown. This time there was a celebrity appearance none other than the Duke himself!

Overall I’d say the event was a success! Lots of people came out, purchases were made, and everyone went home with a little more alcohol in their gut. I’d say that’s a recipe for a good night out.
