Hi, I’m Chaucee, the hands behind the words on this screen. I started this blog as a college freshman in 2008 as a creative outlet while studying for my bachelor’s. Since then it’s grown into a way to document things I love and things I’m learning.

Night Market on Washington Ave

Philadelphia is definitely a food city. The other night was the anual Washington Ave Night Market between 8th and 11th. It had been another long and hot day, but the line up of food trucks and vedors was promising and we were lured into the sounds of live music and chilled ice cream.

I got a delicious Italian dessert, and my roommate got a bourbon vanilla bean cone from Little Baby’s Ice Cream. Now, let’s take a moment and talk about this ice cream. First I’ll describe it’s personality. Smooth, and cool like an Italian man, with a rich, tasty combination of the classic vanilla bean and the sultry bourbon. You’re going to want to try this, and try this STAT. And, you’re welcome. You’ve just received the best news of your life.
