Hi, I’m Chaucee, the hands behind the words on this screen. I started this blog as a college freshman in 2008 as a creative outlet while studying for my bachelor’s. Since then it’s grown into a way to document things I love and things I’m learning.

Design Philly Popup Shop + Cocktail Party

For the past seven years Design Philadelphia has come together to put on a community wide even celebrating the creativity of Philadelphia.  Design Philly exists to promote design, grow local opportunities for trade and investment in design, educate about awareness for the role of design in our lives, and measure and sustain design.
Last night was the kick off cocktail and popup place in Northern Liberties celebrating the start of the next four days of Design Philly. Philly’s fashionable folks were out in full force. One thing I really noticed was a lot of women were wearing hats or head pieces. Definitely a trend to pick up on! The music was great, the food was great, and the fashion to die for.Local designers showcased their work while the guys and gals strutted down the cobblestone railway track.
Check out the line-up of events happening the rest of the week. While it’s impossible to attend them all I aim to do my fair share! Check out what events I’m looking forward to.
Check out the rest of the photos on the Facebook album.
