Hi, I’m Chaucee, the hands behind the words on this screen. I started this blog as a college freshman in 2008 as a creative outlet while studying for my bachelor’s. Since then it’s grown into a way to document things I love and things I’m learning.

Camp Like A Lady

A few weekends ago we headed to the mountains of Northern Pennsylvania. Rain, snow, hail, and freezing temperatures didn’t keep us from having a good time.  A local outdoor company United By Blue invited a group of ladies to go camping at Ricketts Glenn. So my friend Hannah and I packed up the car and headed three hours north of Philly to spend a weekend in the woods.

Some of the ladies included Lauren from handcraftedinvirginia Joy from morningslikethese, Emma of  emcalaryphotography,  Kat from That Kind of Woman, Tracy of tracythnguyen, Kelly of kellyelainesmith, Melissa of @melissa_annetilley, Danielle of mimizinne, Nicole of youvegotnicole, Lacie of 1000 Threads, Rebecca of A Daily Something, and many more beautiful and talented gals. We geared up with some UBB backpacks and apparel and hit the Falls Trail. Spending the weekend away from the city was just what we needed. But next time I’m packing extra blankets!
