Books I’ve Read Recently

Mar 24, 2022

I’ve been reading a lot lately but have fallen out of the habit of posting about it. I hope to bring that back! Here’s what I’ve read recently. Have you read any good books lately?

The Midnight Library

It’s not often that I read fiction books but I’m really glad I picked this one up. I mean it has 4.5 stars and over 129k reviews so it HAS to be somewhat good right? It was. Here’s the synopsis. It was an enjoyable read, not too long and short chapters. The last few chapters were boring but on a whole, a really good book.

The Year Of Less

I enjoyed reading this book because I hadn’t really heard of a shopping ban, much less one for a whole year. However, I wish the book went more into you the struggle of what it was like rather than always focusing on the solution.

Finlay Donovan Is Killing It

I started off enjoying this book and then about halfway through got pretty bored so couldn’t finish it.

Awakening The Brain

If you want to know more about the brain, how beliefs affect us, and how faith plays into all of that, this is the book for you. I enjoyed parts of this book, but it felt repetitive at times and also contained a lot of information I already knew. But that’s because I read a lot about this topic.

Hi, I’m Chaucee, the hands behind the words on this screen. I started this blog as a college freshman in 2008 as a creative outlet while studying for my bachelor’s. Since then it’s grown into a way to document things I love and things I’m learning. Welcome : )
