Hi, I’m Chaucee, the hands behind the words on this screen. I started this blog as a college freshman in 2008 as a creative outlet while studying for my bachelor’s. Since then it’s grown into a way to document things I love and things I’m learning.

GAP: Icon Redefined Collection in Philadelphia

Last night after work I headed over to the Gap on 15th & Walnut for the launch of their Icon Redefined Collection for Autumn 2012. Laurie Trott (Fashion Editor on Who What Wear) was on hand, and everyone was milling around enjoying free drinks, some tasty food, and 30% off a regular priced item.
It’s been a while since I’ve taken pictures of people’s outfits I’ve admired, so I decided now was a better time than ever to pick that up again. And who better to start with than Shelly (pictured above)? I have a feeling those shoes are going to haunt me.  They are so gorgeous. I also love her bold lipstick. It’s something I’ve been wanting to try lately and Shelly does it really well. Definitely taking tips here.
Now this is Steven Tabb. He’s a super friendly guy and he was in from another Gap store to lend a helping hand. He specializes in the visual display of denim. I really liked what Steven was wearing for several different reasons. It’s great how the red is picked up in the eyewear as well as the footwear. And he’s just killing it with that beard. Yes, I do love men with facial hair.
Attendees were encouraged to wear their favorite piece of Gap denim for a chance to win $200, so I threw on my favorite chambray shirt and called it a day. I’ve had this shirt for a while and I really like how I can wear it in the summer and not get too hot. It’s light weight was perfect for this evening out. You also might notice this new necklace from an Ebay auction I won recently. It was part of a vintage jewelry lot, and it also aided in my addiction to Ebay. It’s the thrill of competition with the joy of shopping. How do they know me so well?!
