Hi, I’m Chaucee, the hands behind the words on this screen. I started this blog as a college freshman in 2008 as a creative outlet while studying for my bachelor’s. Since then it’s grown into a way to document things I love and things I’m learning.

Hello From Denver!

A beautiful Denver sky greets us our first morning.

Hello! Wow, it’s been a whirlwind of a week. This time last week I was packing up the car and hitting the road from Denver with my best friend Hannah. Sidenote: what kind of friend volunteers to help you move across the country with two dogs and a senior cat?! The best kind! Seriously, this wouldn’t have been possible without the support and sacrifice of Hannah…and a steady supply of combos (our road trip snack of choice).

Deciding to move across the country and uproot my entire life wasn’t an easy decision. In fact, I wrestled with it for two years before finally deciding to go. Now I’m here I’m confident this is the right decision, even if it was an incredibly hard decision to make. I’m excited to get to know my new city and share with you all the new fun places I explore, people I meet, and experiences that come my way. So if anyone has recommendations of what to do, see, eat, and experience in Denver, please do share! In the meantime, here are some photos from our trip and first days in Denver if you are interested…

Jax and Juno are loving their new huge backyard!

Our new home.

Lady enjoys some fresh air at a rest stop in Indiana. She did amazing the entire trip and loved her harness.

One last stoop sit before leaving Philadelphia. ?
