Hi, I’m Chaucee, the hands behind the words on this screen. I started this blog as a college freshman in 2008 as a creative outlet while studying for my bachelor’s. Since then it’s grown into a way to document things I love and things I’m learning.

Life Lately

If you follow me on social media you may already know why things have been crickets here lately…

At my coding bootcamp graduation with the fam.

In the past month, I completed the full stack coding bootcamp I was doing for the past 6 months, sold my house in Philadelphia, moved the rest of my belongings out west, adopted my senior foster dog Molly, and started the processing of buying a new home in Colorado. It’s been busy to say the least…

In fact, the only reason why I even have time to type this up is because my plane has been delayed a whole 13 hours and I finally find myself with a day with no plans.

The next few months are going to be pretty busy with travel, weddings, house stuff, and work, but sometimes that’s just how things go! In the meantime here are a few photos from my recent adventures. I’ll be posting more on my Instagram than here if you care to follow along.

My beautiful new home in Colorado!

Saying goodbye to my house and favorite neighborhood bar in Philadelphia.

Me with sweet Molly Brown

Our car broken down three hours from Denver in Goodland, Kansas. It’s always an adventure moving across country!

I figured that if I’m going to live in Colorado on a more permanent basis, I might as well lean into the cliches and get a four-wheel drive Jeep.
