Hi, I’m Chaucee, the hands behind the words on this screen. I started this blog as a college freshman in 2008 as a creative outlet while studying for my bachelor’s. Since then it’s grown into a way to document things I love and things I’m learning.

The First Snow Is Here!

There’s nothing quite like the magic of the first snowfall. And this year, it actually arrived at a decent time!

Usually, in my neck of the woods (the mountains of Colorado), we get our first snowfall at the beginning of September.

SEPTEMBER.

This makes all the beautiful autumn leaves fall even faster since they’re already hanging on by a thread. *small. silent. tear*

But this year … our first snowfall came at the perfect time, October 12th. Doesn’t that just FEEL like a good date for snow???

Here are some photos of the dusting we got today : )

Do you love an early snowfall or would you rather it wait?

I’m amazed, I must say. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s both
equally educative and interesting, and without a doubt,
you have hit the nail on the head. The issue is something
too few men and women are speaking intelligently
about. Now i’m very happy I stumbled across this during my hunt for something regarding
    this.
