Hi, I’m Chaucee, the hands behind the words on this screen. I started this blog as a college freshman in 2008 as a creative outlet while studying for my bachelor’s. Since then it’s grown into a way to document things I love and things I’m learning.

Groundswell Greetings

I remember being so excited to get mail as a kid. Now as an adult, I’m even more excited to get a personal card in the mail when it’s usually just bills and junk mail. Even better when they’re hilarious and well designed!

For a card along those lines, you must check out Groundswell Greetings. Not only do they make humorous and unique cards, they’re based in Philadelphia and work with a growing team of more than 30 local artists and illustrators to produce one-of-a-kind cards.

Philly friends will get a laugh out of the Happy Jawnukkah card. ?

Now if that isn’t a sign of true friendship

And of course, the Philly Pretzel!

They have cards for all occasions: getting a new pet, just because, to say you’re sorry, expressing how you feel, or a good old-fashioned birthday greeting, their cards are hilarious, sweet, and charming.

Thank you, Ali, for sending me a few cards! I can’t wait to send them out.
