Hi, I’m Chaucee, the hands behind the words on this screen. I started this blog as a college freshman in 2008 as a creative outlet while studying for my bachelor’s. Since then it’s grown into a way to document things I love and things I’m learning.

On My Nightstand: Where’d Ya Go, Bernadette

*Just* finished this book … about 5 minutes ago. So what better time to write down some thoughts? When I started reading Where’d Ya Go, Bernadette I was a little resentful at the format. The first several chapters were written as emails and notes back and forth between multiple people. It was like pieces of a puzzle you had to put together. But, I quickly got over that as I got into the story line, and in fact, ended up enjoying the writing style. The whole book didn’t come together until the end, which is really the best kind of book. It was an easy read and I read this one pretty fast. I’d put this on my beach-reads list.
