Hi, I’m Chaucee, the hands behind the words on this screen. I started this blog as a college freshman in 2008 as a creative outlet while studying for my bachelor’s. Since then it’s grown into a way to document things I love and things I’m learning.

Philly Favs: Mushmina

This isn’t the first time I’ve written about Mushmina, and for good reason. This local Philly store was founded by sisters, one based in Morocco and the other in West Philly. Together they work with talented artists and craftsmen and women from Morocco to create a collection of uniquely curated goods for customers around the world.

Mushmina was founded in 2009 by sisters Katie and Heather O’Neill and is The store to visit when hunting for that unique statement piece for your home or wardrobe.

Not only do their partner with local artists in curating expertly crafted goods, they also custom design their own brand of handbags, scarves, and jewelry. Most recently they’ve designed a line of handbags exclusively for the QVC network which will debut this Friday, September 9th at 2pm. Make sure to tune in!

Originally located in South Philly, they’ve moved their store to a larger location at 164 e Lancaster Avenue in Wayne, Pennsylvania. Visit them there, or online at www.mushmina.com!
