It’s Sunday, so let’s talk brunch. Honey’s Sit ‘N Eat in Northern Liberties is in my top 5 vegetarian brunch spots in the city. Their tofu scramble is the best in the city, but the other day I had their vegetarian biscuits and gravy! That dish was one of my favorites before going plant-based and I always get ridiculously¬†emotional when I see a veg version on the menu.

But if you’re going there for brunch, try to snag a seat at the counter. This place is pretty popular on the weekends, but the counter usually has an open spot or two. For that reason, it’s one of my favorite places to eat solo. I almost always get seated within 5 minutes if I’m by myself¬†otherwise, the wait can be up to 45 minutes on the weekend if you have a larger group. Another option is to grab an early breakfast during the week when they have discount prices before 9am.
